Sticky Note Quote #7

SNQ #7 Image

“When it rains, we call it a dreary and gloomy day, but we forget that it’s what keeps the earth beautiful and alive.”

                                  ~ Allen R. Kive

Hello all! I hope you guys are all doing well.  I apologize for being absent for so long, its been a crazy past month with all my finals. It’s good to be back though and finally have some time to catch up on your guy’s (and gals’s) posts and getting some of my own prepared.

Yesterday, was wet and rainy day and inspired me to write this quote. It’s so easy to complain about circumstances in our life, and yet fail to realize that they might be, in fact, helping you grow and flourish. Life isn’t going to be all “sunshine and roses.” If we had sunshine all the time, we wouldn’t have any roses. When life’s circumstances don’t seem to be so great, think about how they could be benefiting you. It could make your “rainy” day all that much better!

Have a great weekend y’all – no matter what the weather throws at you!

~Allen R. Kive

“Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praises on the harp to our God, who covers the heavens with clouds who prepares rain for the earth, who makes the grass to grow on the mountains.”  ~ Psalm 147: 7-8

      1. Me either, but we’re supposed to get rain today, so if it doesn’t storm… and maybe sing in the rain, if no one is around. XD (Like the song “Singin’ In The Rain “suggests.) 😂

      1. I went to college a long time ago but still remember finals! A part of life we seem to never forget I suppose. Thank you for the comments and I’ll stop back at your site as well. Good luck with the English…”with either, or, neither, nor, not, but, or or, the verb agrees with the nearer subject!” Hope it helps!

      2. I had that instructor for one or two English classes during college. He sure loved his subject, and I still remember some of the basic rules he taught. I’m glad you are done with your English final. I’m sure you’ll get a good grade! Have a great day…

  1. if we like to eat, the right amount of rain is where food grows. Much like life, no stress, and rain days, no challenge then little growth and a desert life will be there.

  2. Hey Allen!
I hope you did very well on your finals! ☺ It’s nice to read your post again… I agree with you, without the “rain” in our lives, we wouldn’t flourish and grow. Besides, it’s always refreshing after the rain, isn’t it?…and who would not love to see the rainbow? 😊
